Description

Full-time / Exempt / Pay based on experience

 

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) provides clinical leadership and mentorship in specific areas such as MDS, infection control, wound management, or team member education.  The ADON shares leadership responsibilities with the Neighborhood Coordinator and works collaboratively with residents and families, volunteers and team members to foster a positive and engaging environment.

 

Qualifications:

 

High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)

Graduate of a state approved school of nursing, currently licensed as a professional nurse in the state of PA. (Required)

Previous experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare setting. (Preferred)

Previous experience working with the senior population in a healthcare setting. (Required)

Licensed by the Commonwealth of PA as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in good standing. (Required)

Current CPR/AED certificate. (Required)

Strong planning and organizational skills. (Required)

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, residents, guests, families, and team members. (Required)

Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines required. (Required)

Proven problem-solving skills. (Required)

Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite. (Required)

Positive attitude with a focus on promoting teamwork and maintaining a supportive work environment. (Required)
