Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Develops and maintains nursing policies, procedures, objectives and practice standards.
• Prepares schedules within budgetary guidelines and assists with budget process.
• Maintains and prepares records, documentation and reports as required by policies and regulations.
• Act as Catalyst for quality improvement.
• Responsible for the Comprehensive Resident Assessment and Interdisciplinary Plan of Care process.
• Assist with maintenance of nursing policies, procedures, objectives and standards of practice.
• Evaluate job performance and reviews peer evaluations for assigned team members.
• Conduct regular team meetings for all shifts.
• Maintains accurate resident census reports.
• Promote and support culture of patient centered care and service.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse licensure (in state position is located) required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• Active CPR certification required
• Active or ability to obtain Wound Certification and Infection Preventionist Certification required
• Three-years’ Long-Term Care or Rehab experience
• One-year management experience working in Geriatric, Long Term Care or Rehab setting required
