Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Develops and maintains nursing policies, procedures, objectives and practice standards.
- Prepares schedules within budgetary guidelines and assists with budget process.
- Maintains and prepares records, documentation and reports as required by policies and regulations.
- Act as Catalyst for quality improvement.
- Responsible for the Comprehensive Resident Assessment and Interdisciplinary Plan of Care process.
- Assist with maintenance of nursing policies, procedures, objectives and standards of practice.
- Evaluate job performance and reviews peer evaluations for assigned team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings for all shifts.
- Maintains accurate resident census reports.
- Promote and support culture of patient centered care and service.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse licensure (in state position is located) required
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Active CPR certification required
- Active or ability to obtain Wound Certification and Infection Preventionist Certification required
- Three-years’ Long-Term Care or Rehab experience
- One-year management experience working in Geriatric, Long Term Care or Rehab setting required
