The Williamsport Home is looking for an experienced Director of Nursing, DON to join the energetic and spirited team to provide nursing oversight for a 122-bed skilled nursing facility in Lycoming county.

The DON is responsible to develop, organize and direct all aspects of nursing services and related ancillary activities in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations to ensure that each resident receives quality care and services.

The candidate must have experience in a leadership role with proven ability to  navigate the challenges in post-acute care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in skilled nursing regulations, be resourceful, be a clear and transparent communicator and able to effectively manage people. The candidate must be passionate about work with the senior care population.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in skilled nursing setting.

Nursing leadership experience: 1 to 3 years’ in a supervisory capacity
