We are looking for a seasoned RN to Come and Join our team as a Director of Nursing at our Community at Rockhill, a Grace Inspired Living Community.

We are located in Sellersville, PA at 3250 State Road

About Us:

Founded in 1935, the Community at Rockhill (www.communityatrockhill.org) is a residential community for adults 65 and older located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. As a Life Plan Community, Rockhill offers a continuum of care that includes Residential Living, Personal Care for adults who need assistance with daily activities, and Health Care for individuals in need of 24-hour support.

Guided by God’s love, Grace Inspired Living is dedicated to providing communities and services that enhance the lives of older adults in a supportive setting that values residents, employees, volunteers, and families.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Nursing is responsible for directing the operations of the nursing department ensuring that quality care is given to the residents.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Organize, Supervise, and Evaluate the Nursing Department.

-Supervise and Evaluate the residents’ care

-Assist with safety assurance for residents and associates.

-Maintain working knowledge of current state and federal regulations which affect resident care and community operation.

-Coordinate the review and revision of the Facility Assessment on an annual basis.

-Participate in periodic surveys by the PA Department of Health and complete required paperwork and plans of correction in a timely manner.

-Monitor resident medical record documentation for adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.

-Complete and submit required forms and reports in a timely manner.

-Participate in the development of the annual nursing budget.

-Promote a constructive working relationship between all disciplines.

-Participate in various committees and conferences.

-Promote favorable public relations.

-Exhibit professional nursing and leadership attributes.

-Attend management meetings as requested by the Executive Director.

-Collaborate with Executive Director on projects.

-Know and follow existing lines of communication and authority.

-Assure that resident rights are maintained at all times, reporting suspected deviations to immediate supervisor

 

Education

RN-BSN, required.

Experience

Skills in management techniques or previous supervisory skills; knowledge of infection control; 3 to 5 years’ experience as Director of Nursing

Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long term care administration.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

The ability to communicate well with employees and families about their issues

Must maintain CPR certification.
