* $20,000 Sign on Bonus! *

This position offers a flexible work schedule of one REMOTE workday and an additional paid day off during each two-week pay period (work 9 days, paid for 10 each pay period)!

Description

Title: Assistant Director of Nursing

Status: Full Time

Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, On-call rotation

Location: Greensburg Skilled Nursing

What will I do as an employee with Redstone?

As an Assistant Director of Nursing (Registered Nurse), supporting the Redstone mission will include the following responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Communication: Leading and communicating effectively with nursing staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Resident Care & Assessment: Assessing resident conditions, documenting changes, and notifying physicians and families of significant changes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining knowledge of and ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
  • Quality Assurance: Participating in quality assurance initiatives.
  • Resident Management: Managing resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, including electronic data entry.
  • Physician Orders & Medication: Assisting with processing physician orders and covering medication passes as needed.
  • Staffing & Scheduling: Participating in the staffing and scheduling of the nursing department.
  • Task Management: Overseeing daily nursing tasks, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring completion.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to meet resident needs and attending care conference meetings.
  • On-Call Responsibilities: Sharing on-call responsibilities and acting as Director of Nursing in their absence.

What do I need for this role with Redstone?

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college/university in Nursing or two-year RN Associates degree in Nursing.
  • One year of supervisory experience in LTC; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
