Shift Availability for ADON:

  • Full-Time, Salary
  • Mon-Fri Days
  • Some schedule flexibility required due to needs of the facility
  • On-call rotation responsibilities

Responsibilities of ADON:

  • Assist DON with the overall management of the nursing department
  • Supervise staff
  • Ensure quality care and effective teamwork
  • Responsible for managing all staff development and training
  • Responsible for infection prevention and control procedures
  • Responsible for leading quality assurance program.

Requirements

Qualifications of ADON:

  • Current RN license in good standing; required
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred
  • 5 or more years of recent nursing or clinical experience (including management level roles)
  • Current knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to long term care
  • CPR certification
  • Positive interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and organization skills
