JOB PURPOSE: Assists with the organization, supervision and administration of the total nursing service program. Primary responsibility for components of the nursing service program may be assigned to the Assistant Director of Nursing by the Director of Nursing. Participates in nursing management on-call rotation schedule.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Current state professional license (RN). At least one-year supervisory experience in gerontological/rehabilitative nursing or related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred. Ability to lead, instruct and lead staff. Computer experience preferred. Maintain or able to obtain current CPR certification. Computer experience required. Will maintain or obtain Wound Certification and Infection Preventionist Certification.EOE
