While it can be both difficult and exhausting to address employee complaints, employers must be aware that certain types of complaints can trigger legal protection.

By discussing some hypothetical scenarios and actual Pennsylvania lawsuits, I aim to educate employers about the types of complaints that Courts recognize in wrongful discharge or retaliation lawsuits. I hope that employers can develop strategies to investigate and follow-through if faced with such "whistleblower" complaints.

Objectives:

  1. Learn to recognize types of whistleblower actions recognized in PA.
  2. Learn to prioritize documentation and proper investigative techniques to assure fairness and diligence.

1.0 contact hour will be awarded after completion of an online program evaluation which includes submission of your license number. Successful completion is attending the entire webinar and the completion/submission of the evaluation form.
